A single shark tooth sparked a mission
Our story began with a single shark tooth found by our founder, Amalie, during her work on a shark conservation project in Fiji.
A single bull shark tooth, discovered at the bottom of the ocean, became the catalyst for our mission. Amalie picked up the tooth and made it into a mold for a shark tooth necklace. At that moment, not just a necklace was created, but a symbol of hope for the sharks, for the ocean and a pledge to protect the sharks' home, the coral reefs. With our designs we aim to connect people to the ocean and make each piece a contributor in rebuilding the ocean's coral reefs.

At VANDAYA, we wanted to redefine how an e-commerce can create a meaningful connection between customers and environmental impact. This vision inspired the development of our loyalty programme, which integrates an impact-tracking map to help our customers visualize how their purchases are contributing to the rebuilding of coral reefs.
Every customer who joins our loyalty programme is given their own digital reef, which grows as they make purchases. With each transaction, customers can see their contribution to restoring coral reefs, creating a direct link between consumer action and environmental impact. Our tiered programme rewards loyalty with a range of exclusive benefits, and for those who reach the top tier, we offer the chance to visit our coral restoration partner in Bali.
